One of the books that I keep returning to again and again
Periodically I dip into my copy, very glad to have this particular translation.
Thank you for the highlights of this book.
A really great way to start my week.
Marcus is underappreciated in academia because his ideas are so simple and straightforward that they don't really require intermediaries to explain them. There is so much wisdom in stoicism but it makes sense based on its plain meaning, so doesn't really need tenured PhDs to decipher. Post-modernism is bullshit, but serves as a jobs program for professors.
